Ingredients Needed To Make Seven Layer Salad

For The Salad

  • Iceberg Lettuce – shredded
  • Red Onion – thinly sliced
  • Cherry Tomatoes – sliced
  • Hard Boiled Eggs – sliced
  • Cooked Bacon – crumbled
  • Frozen Peas – thawed
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese – shredded

For The Dressing

  • Mayonnaise
  • Sour Cream
  • Apple Cider Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

PRO TIP: While you can serve this salad immediately after making it, I highly recommend allowing the salad to refrigerate overnight, this salad is best when it’s made ahead of time!

How To Make Seven Layer Salad

  • Make the salad dressing by adding all the dressing ingredients to a mason jar. Place the lid on the jar and shake until all the ingredients are well combined. Set aside dressing.
  • Grab your serving dish and begin to layer the salad ingredients into the bowl. Place the iceberg lettuce on the bottom, followed by the red onions, then layer on the tomatoes.
  • Once the first three layers are complete, add a layer of eggs on top of the tomatoes, add the thawed peas, and add a layer of crumbled bacon over the peas.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad, then top with the shredded cheddar cheese. Cover the salad and refrigerate overnight or until you’re ready to serve.
